Absa CIB’s 2020 Macro Conference promises to deliver key strategic insights

SHARE

Focus on the strategic imperatives of 2021 and beyond with powerful local and international speakers at this premier event series.

Since 2017, the Absa Macro Conference has delivered market intelligence, access to networks and investment and business opportunities for Absa CIB clients.

Top local and international speakers have challenged and inspired attendees, who have included leading CEOs and executives of a wide range of local companies, as well as fund managers, portfolio managers, strategists and economists from the asset spectrum.

This year, the stakes are far higher. Over a three-week period, Absa CIB’s premier event for CIB clients, the 2020 Absa Macro Conference, will address the key concerns and critical success factors that business leaders and financial services experts will need to navigate in order to leverage key opportunities in 2021 and beyond.

A strategic focus on growth

Local and international speakers will encourage attendees across the three events to take a step back from the day-to-day information flow we are all exposed to and focus on a strategic view of the future.

This assessment will be influenced by developments in ever-shifting demographic, geopolitical, and technological landscapes, and will address the requirements of a COVID-19 world.

The series will focus on the big issues that the world is grappling with, starting globally, narrowing down to Africa and then into South Africa and Pan African challenges and opportunities.

  • The 2020 Absa Macro Conference sessions will be held on 4, 11 and 18 November 2020.
  • This event is open to Absa CIB clients only.
