Absa Corporate and Investment Banking arranged a USD350m financing facility for United Capital Fertilizer Ltd (UCF) to help scale production and improve fertilizer supply across key African markets.

Absa acted as Mandated Lead Arranger, Bookrunner and Sole Underwriter, structuring tailored medium-term and working capital facilities aligned to UCF’s growth needs.

The funding will help UCF secure critical inputs, optimise production cycles and better serve Zambia and regional export markets.

Through this transaction, Absa is contributing to stronger agricultural value chains, more resilient food systems and cross-border trade across Southern Africa.
