The June 2026 results point to a continued, broad-based recovery in South African direct real estate, delivering a strong 12.5% annual total return as improving fundamentals and stronger capital growth supported performance. Vacancy rates declined to multi-year lows, rental growth accelerated and transaction activity strengthened, signaling renewed occupier and investor confidence. Industrial remained the strongest-performing sector, while retail delivered solid results and offices continued their recovery, reinforcing a constructive outlook for the market heading into 2027.
